CREATIVE DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY
Our community seminars and digital workshops are offered to assist you to learn the basics of digital photography and by better understanding the photography principles, become more competent and creative with your image making. You will marvel at the improvement of your images and be encouraged by your newfound skills.
Regular Seminars on Thursdays at the Library
Why not join others with interests in digital photography at our FREE regular digital photography Seminars at the Everton Park Library on the 3rd Thursday of the month from 6.00 - 7.45pm.
These Seminars are FREE and are a collaborative event hosted by the Library and Lifetime Photography. You will be introduced to the world of digital photography; How is it different to film photography and how you can get better images from your camera
A FREE multimedia CD giving you background information on digital photography is provided to you with the complements of Lifetime Photography . The CD also contains a collection of inspirational images and examples of creativity techniques explaining f stop, shutter speeds and depth of field and more..
This CD can be studied at home at your own pace and will provide background and questions for ongoing monthly forums.

Practical Workshops on Sundays

Our Practical Digital Photography Workshop is offered in Brisbane on the Second Sunday monthly and will be in Brisbane city environs from 2.00-6.00pm (to allow late afternoon/twilight exposures at the end of the workshop)
The Workshops are offered as they fill (minimum 6 and maximum 10 participants for personal attention.)
Cost of the 4 hour Workshop is AU $130 (including notes)
Attend the Library Forum and receive our FREE Digital Photography CD - otherwise valued at $25.
During the workshop you will be shown how to apply the many creative ideas discussed at the short course and discusseed in our notes. You will receive personal tuition in improving your photographyand be able to see the difference in your technique and imagery.
PLEASE NOTE: You will be required to read our Photography notes before attending the Workshop. This will give you basic understanding of the type of photographic imagery we will be covering at the workshop. These notes will be emailed to you on receipt of your enrolment and payment for the workshop. In fairness to everyone, this common understanding by all attending will allow greater uptake of knowledge on the day.

About the photographer:
Norm Whyte has been a photographer for 50 years and has operated a professional studio for over 30 years. When his website was developed and launched in 1996 it was one of the first profesional photographer websites in Australia and the first in Queensland. He has ridden on the crest of the digital photography wave for the past decade.
The advent of digital photography has created a revolution in photography which is evident in both the community and the photography industry.
